Abe Duque
Ableton, Mixing & Mastering
With a career that started in the early days of house and techno at New York’s notorious Limelight, Abe Duque has been at the head of the acid-house and underground-techno table since his earliest releases way back in 1992. Between touring the world’s underground techno scenes, releasing on labels such as International Deejay Gigolo, Tension, Abuse Industries, and Rapture, and remixing tracks for household names such as Chemical Brothers and Pet Shop Boys, Abe later turned his attention to education, where he is now considered one of the most respected educators in New York City.

We will explore how to embed new relationships between different elements to produce more cohesive and evocative work.
Noah Pred has been making music for the past two decades. Working with hardware samplers, sequencers, and synthesizers, he began performing live sets of techno, house, and electro in the mid-’90s. He has since toured North America and Europe with his unique hybrid of electro, dub, techno, and house, issuing numerous releases on labels around the globe, and receiving two Juno Award nominations in the process. As Canada’s very first Ableton Certified Trainer, he has taught a wide variety of techniques for stage and studio over the decade at institutions such as the Rich Media Institute, MacProVideo, FEED, Ask Audio, BIMM Berlin, and 343 Labs.
