  • Yes we do. You can pay the tuition fees on a monthly basis.

  • Yes we do. Candidates must show exceptional talent or financial need to qualify. For more information please email [email protected].

  • Unfortunately we cannot help with any visa-related issues, however you can take the program in New York, Berlin, and online and we can help you find a way to structure this in a way that you can visit on a tourist visa.

  • We are working on this. Please email [email protected]

  • If you’ve already taken some classes at 343 Labs in the past it’s up to you if you would like to retake them or not. We always find that retaking classes solidifies knowledge and you might well gain an even deeper understanding learning from a second instructor. That said, we will have more advanced classes for students that are more experienced and we will discuss with you the classes assigned to you, to make sure you are taking the classes that are best for your development.

  • You will be taking roughly 6-9 hours of class per week. Additionally you will be completing homework assignments and working towards Milestone Projects. There will also be mentorship, office hours, and masterclasses. In total we estimate that you will spend roughly 18-25 hours per week dedicated to our program.

  • We will send you your schedule one month before the start of the program. You can request to join evening or weekend classes, as well as day-time classes.

  • We do not guarantee job placement, however you will leave with the skills that you need to be successful in the music industry, as well as a network of music industry professionals that you can leverage in your future career.

  • Our goal is to give you the tools to succeed in the music industry, and once you graduate you will be able to work in a variety of music-related fields. Some of these include: producer, recording artist, live act, songwriter, sound designer, audio engineer, composer, producer for video games, TV and film, or commercials. Working in music technology, interdisciplinary arts projects, sound installations, or working in music business.

  • You will be assessed on each class that you take, as well as on your Milestone Projects and final live performance. You will receive a pass or fail for each class and project and only receive a Certificate of Completion if you earn a passing grade for all portions of the program.

  • If you miss a class due to illness, or an important engagement you have several options to catch up on the missed material. You can either access one of the recorded online classes, or you can schedule a private makeup class with an instructor, which will be charged at a discounted rate.

  • In extenuating circumstances you may be able to defer your enrollment up to one year. These circumstances include severe illness or the death of a family member. Extenuating circumstances do not include visa-related issues, since we have online options, which can be taken from anywhere in the world. If you need to defer your enrollment for any reason you must send a request via email at least two months before the first day of classes (email [email protected]). In order to enroll in a subsequent year you will need to pay the Acceptance Fee of $500 again.

  • Generally we do not allow you to take a break during the One-Year Program, since this disrupts our programming and your fellow students. In extenuating circumstances we may make an exception, but this is up to our discretion and you will need to pay the Acceptance Fee again for any classes not taken during the year you are enrolled in.

  • All you will need for class is a laptop with your DAW and headphones. We have MIDI keyboards, Ableton Push, and some hardware synths for you to use in our classrooms. We do not require you to buy any specific plugins, however we do have discounts to most popular brands such as Ableton, Arturia, FabFilter, SoundToys, and Izotope, in case you want to buy these. At some point later in the program, you may want to buy a microphone and audio interface, but you do not need these to start with.

  • Please email us at [email protected] and we will answer any questions you may still have.
